Sunset Point, Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

“Rock on Fire”
Limited Edition of 195 | Artist Proof 25

This magical 37,277 acre national park was established in 1928 and was named after Ebenezer Bryce who lived nearby and harvested timber in the Paria Valley. Found at the top of the geological Grand Staircase of southern Utah on the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, the park is home to thousands of multicolored geological formations collectively know as “hoodoos”. The spectacular Claron limestone, sandstone and mudstone amphitheaters come to life as they glow a brilliant orange and salmon color during sunrise and sunset.
