Meyers Creek Beach, Pistol River State Park, Oregon

“To and Flow”
Limited Edition of 195 | Artist Proof 25

Meyers Creek Beach in Pistol River State Park is located on the dunes of the southern Oregon coast. This historic area apparently got its name during the infamous Rogue River Indian War (1855-1856) when a militia soldier lost his pistol in the river. Also, a decisive battle in this war was fought at Pistol River in the spring of 1856. This popular surfing, windsurfing and clamming beach is dotted with rugged sea stacks, providing a wonderful setting to truly enjoy this magnificent coast.
